Pontypool based gaming business gets off to a flying start
Based in George Street, Pontypool, Torfaen, Duke's Gaming first opened its doors in March 2019, by Luke Durham, gaming enthusiast of over 20 years and experienced retail manager with well-known brands such as 'GAME' and 'Mamas and Papas'. A food delivery firm was ordered to dispose of £2500 worth of sandwiches last month after food hygiene officers from the council discovered they had been transported from London in a broken refrigerated vehicle.

Enforcement officers now issuing fines
At the beginning of July our new civil parking and environmental enforcement officers were busy issuing warning parking tickets to raise awareness of civil parking enforcement (which came into action on 1 July). However, they are now formally issuing fines (known as Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs)) to those who have been ignoring parking signs and lines, and issuing fines for environmental crimes such as littering.
