16 year old para-swimmer achieves gold, silver and bronze
16-year-old Dylan Broom from Abersychan has recently represented Swim Wales at the British Summer Nationals where he won a silver medal in the 200m Freestyle (S14) and secured a bronze medal in the 200m Individual Medley (SM14) at his first senior meet.

Volunteer to support Torfaen's young athletes
The annual Mic Morris Torfaen 10k takes place on Sunday 16 September in aid of the Mic Morris Trust, a fund set up by Gwent Police and Torfaen Council to raise money to support young athletes in the borough.

The Pontypool junior parkrun started way back in 2014 and is held every Sunday morning in Pontypool Park at 9am.
