A decarbonisation project has helped 31 businesses to reduce carbon emissions and save up to £63,120.95 a year on gas and electricity.
This year, grants of up to £20,000 are available for businesses are available to help them reduce carbon emissions and save money.
Applications need to be made by Monday 9 November - please contact energy.management@torfaen.gov.uk.
Applications will be looked at on a first come first serve basis.
Additional funding is also available for larger scale energy reduction schemes.
Last year, La Creme Patisserie, a local cake and dessert manufacturer received £17,500 towards funding to install solar panels, saving an estimated16.2 tonnes of carbon per year - equivalent to the amount of emissions produced by driving a petrol car approximately 50,000 miles.
Operations Director Robert Hindle said: " We applied for the energy grant as our electricity cost had dramatically increased and we could see that solar panels could provide us with energy during our production hours when it is needed the most.
“Over the last few years La Creme has been investing in our premises and becoming environmentally friendly across our whole operation.
“With previous support from Torfaen for a remote temperature monitoring system for our freezers which alerts us of variances or breakdowns, we are building in resilience and energy security to futureproof our business.
"Since making all these changes, the savings we have made have allowed us to continue investment in other areas of the company such as a new industrial dishwasher and a waterjet cutting machine, which will both help to reduce our water and energy consumption per slice of cake!"
Cllr Sue Morgan, Executive Member for Waste and Sustainability, said: " Rising energy costs continue to place pressure on businesses and organisations, which is why we're encouraging eligible groups to take advantage of this funding opportunity.
“These grants can help reduce energy bills, cut carbon emissions and make buildings more sustainable for the future.
“The success of previous recipients shows that even relatively small investments can deliver significant long-term savings."
