The projects can provide you with the skills you may need to meet the demands of local businesses and to have the opportunity to progress into a good quality job. They can also advise you on a range of support packages to overcome any issues that might be preventing you from working e.g. example childcare and transport. 

The better qualified you are and the more skills you have to offer, the more likely you are to find work and stay in it. 

Some of the projects also offer support once you have found work so that they can continue to help you to solve problems and to retain your job. Different eligibility criteria apply to each project but you can find out more here.
