School Admissions - Sixth Form

Torfaen is the admission Authority for all maintained schools within its area, including sixth forms where appropriate.

This only applies to Ysgol Gwynllyw where the sixth form is being retained and are therefore responsible for processes and procedures relating to sixth form admissions.

In the case of the English Medium Secondary Schools in Torfaen these are now 11-16 providers with sixth form provision provided at the Torfaen Learning Zone (TLZ). Admissions to the TLZ are organised by Coleg Gwent (Tel: 01495 333777).
