Greenmeadow Community Farm has announced the return of their popular annual show, scheduled to take place on Sunday 13 September 2026. The event will also mark the first anniversary of the farm’s re-opening following its extensive transformation to develop the visitor destination.
The Greenmeadow Community Farm Show was previously a much-loved community tradition, and the farm will once again be using it to celebrate local talent, creativity and homegrown produce.
Farm Manager at Greenmeadow, Jac Griffiths says: “The annual show is back! It’s an amazing event where people from all across our local communities can come together and celebrate farming, gardening, produce and all of the activities that are part of local, rural tradition.
“We’re planning to make this event extra special as we celebrate our first anniversary since we re-opened the farm gates, so planning is already underway.”
Show classes will include vegetables, novice vegetables, flowers, fruit, handicrafts, photography, baking, preserves and wines as well as a number of show classes for children. The farm will be rewarding the impressive, as well as the weird and wonderful.
The annual show will come at the end of an exciting summer of events, as the farm is shaping up a schedule of themed weeks, from Western to Circus and the Mythical. Full details on the summer programme will be announced later this month.
