An evening aimed at celebrating female business leaders and entrepreneurs will be held in Cwmbran next month.
Torfaen Women in Business will include guest speakers, networking opportunities and a mini Christmas market with stalls from local businesses.
Nikola Masters, owner of Osborne Lodge Nursery in Pontypool, will be attending and said: "Torfaen Women in Business is a fantastic opportunity to meet, chat and connect with other like-minded entrepreneurial women who share the same ethos.
"There aren’t many other events like this that are focussed on bringing businesswomen together to build connections and meet people they wouldn’t normally come into contact with.
"I’ve been coming to these events for several years and I get so much out of them, they really are a highlight of the business calendar in this part of Wales and a must for any female in business."
It's been four years since the last Torfaen Women in Business was held due to Covid. This year's event has been funded by Torfaen Council and the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund.
This year's event will take place at the Parkway Hotel on Wednesday 22 November, between 4:30pm and 8pm, and will include guest speakers Kelli Aspland and Laura Waters from Solar Buddies, based in Cwmbran, and former Eden Project Managing Director Gaynor Coley, from Cwmbran.
Councillor Joanne Gauden, Executive Member for Economy, Skills & Regeneration, said: "There has been a real appetite among businesswomen to see this event return - the women who attend have an incredible enthusiasm and energy for their businesses as well as those of others.
"We have a fantastic line up of inspiring guest speakers, trade tables and networking opportunities and I look forward to seeing as many businesswomen and entrepreneurs there as possible."
Tickets for the event cost £12 each, or £15 with a pop up banner and £25 for a ticket and trade table. You can order tickets from Torfaen Women in Business.
