Have you ever dreamed of running your own café?

If so, you could become the new lease holder of the World Heritage Centre café in Blaenavon, just a short distance from the world-renowned Big Pit and Blaenavon Ironworks tourist attractions.

The tender process is underway, and the three-year lease will be available from September with the potential to extend it by an additional two years.

With around 30,000 visitors every year, the café holds 34 customers, and is open Tuesdays to Sundays between 9.15am and 4.30pm all year round (including bank holidays). Kitchen fixtures and fittings, as well as tables and chairs, are also included in the lease.

By becoming the esteemed tenant of the café, you'll not only gain access to a well-established customer base, but also enjoy a collaborative relationship with the heritage centre. This partnership will open doors to exciting events and collaborations, providing you with unique opportunities to showcase your talents and attract even more visitors to your cafe.

Councillor Joanne Gauden, Executive Member for Economy, Skills and Regeneration, said: “This is a great opportunity whether you are an experienced café owner or want to realise your dream of running your own eatery.

“The café is set in a prime location, so take the leap, embrace your passion, and let your culinary expertise shine in this vibrant and welcoming setting.”
