The Torfaen Santa Appeal 2022 will open for donations at the beginning of next month.
Last year, nearly 800 gifts and food hampers were given to more than 200 children and young people being supported by Torfaen Council's Children & Family Teams.
As well as presents, this year residents can also choose to donate high street gift cards, which will either be given to families and young people, or used by teams to buy gifts on their behalf.
Councillor Fiona Cross, Executive Member for Children, Families and Communities, said: "This is the 15th year we have run the Torfaen Santa Appeal and every year we're amazed at how generous local residents are.
"We understand many people and families maybe planning to spend less this Christmas because of the increasing cost of living, but we know the children and families we support will be grateful for whatever you can afford."
The Torfaen Santa Appeal 2022 will open on Wednesday 2 November until Thursday 1 December. Unfortunately, we will not be able to receive donations after this date.
To donate a present or a gift voucher, please call 01633 647539, Monday to Thursday, between 9.00am to 4.00pm.
You will be given the age and gender of a child or young person, and a reference number, which will need to be attached to the present or voucher. We can no longer provide names due to Data Protection guidelines.

Recommended gift vouchers for younger children include Argos, Smyths or Entertainer vouchers. Love2Shop or One4All vouchers, which are available from supermarkets and the Post Office, are recommended for teenagers and young people.
You can also donate non-perishable food which will be used to create hampers for young people aged 16 and over who are living alone.
