Recycling and waste
There will be no changes to collection days this year on Bank Holiday Monday (Monday 29 August). Please put out your recycling and waste on your usual collection day.
The Household Waste Recycling Centre will remain open as per summer opening hours. Monday to Saturday 8am to 5.45pm, and Sunday 9am to 5.45pm
The Steelhouse reuse shop will be open as usual between 9.30am to 4.30pm daily.
Torfaen Customer Care
All of our Customer Care Centres are closed on Monday 29 August, and will reopen on their usual days and times after the Bank Holiday.
Call Torfaen will close at 5:00pm on Friday 26 August, and will reopen 8.30am Tuesday 30 August.
Libraries
All libraries will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, and will re-open on their usual days and times after the Bank Holiday.
Cemeteries
The cemeteries will be open as usual for visitors, but the office will be shut.
