Do you care for someone who loves to read but is unable to visit a library due to ill health or disability? Could you deliver library books to them? Then why not visit your local library and apply for a Carer’s Card?
With a Carer’s Card you can borrow a total of 50 items for yourself and the person you care for. Advantages include extended loan periods on books with no overdue charges should you keep them late and the first 3 week loan period free for talking books. Subsequent weeks for talking books are charged at the usual rate.
If you are not currently a library member you will be asked to provide proof of your name and address.
