Welsh Church Fund 2025/2026

The council receives an annual allocation from the Welsh Church Fund to distribute to community projects and individuals in need.    

This year grants of up to £1,000 are available to community groups, voluntary organisations, and local charities. 

There are four opportunities to apply. Applications need to be submitted by 8am on:  

• 31 December 2025
• 15 January 2026
• 29 January 2026
• 12 February 2026

Applications received after the deadline will be considered for the next available deadline.

Charitable organisations 

Applications from community groups and charitable organisations will need to provide the following documentation to support progression of the application: 

• A copy of your last accounts
• A recent bank statement (less than 3 months old)
• A copy of your constitution or memorandum

Individual applications 

Individuals experiencing hardship or financial crisis can also apply for assistance through the Welsh Church Fund by contacting the Customer Care Team on 01495 762200 to be referred to Early Intervention and Prevention Hub for an assessment and consideration of needs.
