Classroom Based Learning
The Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Award course will give you the essential knowledge required to start your career as a Teaching Assistant.
You will learn how to develop your communication skills, with children of all ages, whilst also achieving an understanding of their educational development, including their behaviour and welfare needs.
The Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Certificate course is also available, this is a combination of theory and placement.
This course will provide you with practical techniques to plan learning activities, assessment strategies and develop your core knowledge and understanding of children educational needs.
Course eligibility requirement – Applicants must hold a GCSE grade C (or Level 2 equivalent) in Maths and/or English.
Qualifications will be checked and verified.
