Congratulations to our local businesses that were recent winners at Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent Business Awards.
The annual awards ceremony now celebrates the outstanding achievements of businesses and entrepreneurs across the three counties.
Sixteen businesses and business owners from Torfaen were shortlisted in a range of categories, including Start Up Business of the Year, Micro Business of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year.
This year's event had a record number of entries. The winners in Torfaen were:
- Amotio Ltd - Innovation & Technology Business of the Year
- Kilted Dragon Distillery Ltd - Start Up Business of the Year
- Hope GB - Third Sector Organisation of the Year
- Welsh General Store - Retail Business of the Year
Cllr Joanne Gauden, Executive Member for Economy, Skills and Regeneration, said: "It’s fantastic to see so many great businesses in Torfaen recognised. We're committed to being a borough which attracts and supports new and established businesses to thrive. In the current economic climate, it’s important for us to come together as a business community and celebrate the hard work and dedication of everyone contributing to our local economies and the awards night gave us the perfect opportunity to do just that.”
The event also raised money for the Monmouth Town Council fund to help those affected by the recent devastating floods in Monmouth.
