Knitting her way to success

Pontypool Indoor Market stall holder Tania Britten of The Craft Cabin, has been nominated for this year’s British Knitting and Crochet Awards 2022, under the category of Best Regional Independent Store.

Nominated by Let’s Knit Magazine, this accolade is a testament to her dedication and hard work since she took over the mantle in November 2020.

Tania has continued the long history of communal knitting with local group The Craft Cabin Chatter meeting on a Thursday between 5pm – 7pm, and Saturday mornings from 10am -12.30pm.

The Craft Cabin has been trading in the market for over 50 years, and the current owner Tania is thrilled to be nominated for this year’s prestigious award.
