Careers Wales

Careers Wales provides careers advice and guidance for people of all ages, it has a particular focus on supporting disadvantaged young people or those likely to underachieve, including those with SEN but not only those with a Statement of Special Educational Needs.

For all pupils, Careers Wales provides schools with information which will help students make successful transitions to post-school education, training or work, including details of local and national voluntary organisations.

For pupils with Statements of special educational needs, a representative from Careers Wales will be invited to the Annual Review in year 9 to start discussing further learning and careers options.

Careers Wales seeks to help individuals to move successfully into education, training and sustainable employment and make informed decisions about their careers and learning options.

Careers Wales is committed to equal opportunities and so all services are designed to meet individual needs regardless of gender, age, special needs, race or religious belief.
