We have an autism support officer who works with parents, schools and other professionals to support pupils with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, or in the process of getting a diagnosis.
They provide:
- One-to-one advice for parents and schools
- Coffee and chat sessions in schools and local parent groups
- Training for families of children with diagnosed or undiagnosed autism
- Support and training for schools, including catering staff
- Resources for schools, parents and professionals.
Referrals can be made via a school or professional.
