Note 1 - the vehicles on this list are capable of carrying some, but not necessarily all, types of occupied wheelchairs.
Note 2 - A vehicle has been included in this list only if it would be possible for the user of a “reference wheelchair” to enter, leave, and travel in the passenger compartment in safety and reasonable comfort whilst seated in their wheelchair. A “reference wheelchair” is defined as 700mm in width, 1200mm in length, and 1350mm in height. Where it is known that the user of a wheelchair that is larger than a "reference wheelchair” is able to enter, leave, and travel in the passenger compartment of the vehicle in safety and reasonable comfort whilst seated in their wheelchair, this is identified in the list.
Note 3 - Where it is known that a vehicle on this list can carry a vehicle that is larger than a "reference wheelchair", the size and weight of a wheelchair that can be accommodated is indicated.
