Animal Welfare
Torfaen has statutory powers to undertake animal health and welfare duties within the area

Residents will need to contact a private pest control company for problems with rats, mice, bedbugs or cockroaches

Public Space Protection Orders create an offence for a person to take a dog onto or permit a dog to enter or to remain on any land to which an order applies

We are no longer able to collect stray farm animals such as sheep, cattle, horses, goats and pigs from the highway or other public places

If you think you have a swarm, use the Swarm Collector Map to find a local beekeeper to come and remove them
Lost or Stray Dogs
If you have lost your dog, or have found a stray dog in the area, you should contact our dog warden as soon as possible
