More than 900 children have taken part in a fun-filled week of play this half term, thanks to Torfaen Play Service.
The Play & Wellbeing were provided at schools and community venues across the borough, where over 120 playworkers and volunteers delivered a range of play-based activities.
Children got the chance to immerse themselves in a variety of exciting activities, including sports, arts and crafts, team games, and cherish moments with friends.
Specialist play and respite sessions were also delivered to around 85 children who required additional support.
Julian Davenne, Manager at Torfaen Play Service, said: “It’s been yet another fantastic week of play, with great numbers of children engaging with free play opportunities.
“None of this would be possible without the commitment and dedication of the playworkers and volunteers who support these activities all year round.”
