Torfaen People's Panel

The Torfaen People's Panel is made up of residents from a range of ages and backgrounds from across the borough, and aims to broadly represent Torfaen's population in terms of gender, ethnicity and geography.

The Torfaen People’s Panel gives residents the opportunity to shape the way public services are delivered locally either by the council or Gwent Public Services Board partners.

Panel members can get involved in a number of different ways and can decide on their level of involvement. Members can:

  • Contribute to consultations
  • Attend focus/discussion groups
  • Work with organisations to shape policies and service delivery
  • Comment on policies
  • Comment on strategies
  • Become involved in the council’s scrutiny processes

If you are interested in joining the Panel, email louise.day@torfaen.gov.uk
