Build confidence, communication skills and professional knowledge with our Level 2 Customer Service course, delivered by Torfaen Adult Community Learning.

This course is ideal for anyone working in, or preparing for, customer‑facing roles, including retail, administration, reception, hospitality, health or voluntary and community settings. It’s also well suited to organisations looking to support employees or clients to develop essential workplace skills.

How the course works

Learning is completed online at your own pace, allowing you to fit study around work, caring responsibilities or other commitments. Once you’re ready, you’ll attend one of our centres to complete a short, multiple‑choice assessment in a supportive, in‑person setting.

You’ll develop practical knowledge and confidence in areas such as:

  • Meeting customer needs and expectations
  • Problem‑solving and professionalism in the workplace

  • Accredited Level 2 qualification (certificate awarded)
  • Non‑accredited option available
  • Bespoke or group delivery for employers, organisations or support services
    (In‑person, online or blended options can be discussed)

We’re happy to tailor delivery to suit specific groups, including confidence‑building, employability support or workforce upskilling.

Assessment

  • One multiple‑choice examination
  • Sat in person at a Torfaen Adult Community Learning centre
  • Re‑sits charged separately if required

£62.50 - Any re‑sits are charged separately.
