Radio and TV broadcaster Eleri Sion will host this year's Women In Business event at the Parkway Hotel next month.
The former sports journalist, who hosts her own BBC Radio Wales programme, will be joined by guest speakers Sarah-Jane Waters, from AP Waters Building Contractors, and Ria Gibbs and Rachel Knight, from Reflect and Refocus Positive Change Coaching.
The evening will also include afternoon tea, live entertainment, networking opportunities, trade tables including an autumn fayre, and a raffle with prizes worth hundreds of pounds.
Tickets cost £20 and £30 for trade table. This year, all proceeds will be donated to Mind in Gwent.
Councillor Joanne Gauden, Executive Member for Economy, Skills & Regeneration, said: "Women in Business event is one of the highlights in the business calendar. The energy and enthusiasm in the room is inspiring.
"This year's theme is mental health and well-being and I look forward to hearing how our guest speakers look after their mental and physical health while balancing successful careers."
Sarah Waters will talk about her experience of dealing with mental health and wellbeing in a male dominated organisation, and the difference that working with CASE UK, which specialises in mental health and well-being support, has made to her staff.
Ria Gibbs and Rachel Knight will discuss how their business helps people go on a journey of resilience and connection to build confidence and achieve meaningful goals.
The Women in Business event is organised by the council's business engagement team and will take place on between Thursday November 5, between 4.30pm and 8pm.
