Nearly 500 staff and volunteers came together to celebrate another successful summer of play at this year's Torfaen Play Service summer awards.
The event at the Victory Church, in Cwmbran, recognised the incredible efforts of the workforce who helped deliver staffed play opportunities to more than 3,000 children and young people during the summer holidays.
The highly sought-after Site of the Year award went to Blaenavon Heritage Food and Fun Camp (pictured).
Staff and volunteers at Woodlands Primary Food and Fun Camp won the Best Planned Activities Site award, with Victory Church winning the award for Best Inclusion Site.
The Best Newcomer Site Supervisor Award was presented to Jade Flemming, from Llantarnam Community Food and Fun Camp, and the Best Partnership Award was awarded jointly to Jordan Walters and Bethany Norman, from New Inn Community Food and Fun Camp.
Cllr Richard Clark, Executive Member for Children, Families and Education, said: "Every summer we are amazed by the dedication, passion and hard work shown by our staff and volunteers.
"These awards are a chance to celebrate the individuals and teams who go above and beyond to make a difference."
Andrea Sysum, Play Policy Officer and Summer Play Staff Manager, added:"Our workforce faced some particularly challenging circumstances this summer, including exceptionally high temperatures and the impact of wildfire smoke across the region.
"Despite this, our staff and volunteers continued to show outstanding professionalism, resilience and commitment to the children and families we support. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done to make this summer such a success."
