Greenmeadow Community Farm is gearing up for a fantastic 1st birthday celebration with a packed programme of family fun, live entertainment and its much-loved Farm Show on Sunday 13 September.
The anniversary event promises something for everyone, with around 30 exhibitors showcasing 85 entries across 30 competition classes.
Visitors can admire everything from homegrown fruit and vegetables, stunning floral displays and delicious baking, to photography, crafts and children's creations.
Country music favourite Miss Rebecca Jones and her band will perform live, from 12pm to 2pm, while Circus for Positivity brings laughter, skills and interactive entertainment to the Dairy throughout the day.
Jac Griffiths, Greenmeadow Community Farm Manager, said: "We're delighted to be celebrating our first anniversary since reopening the farm to the public.
"Over the past year we've welcomed more than 100,000 visitors, hosted thousands of school children and re-established Greenmeadow as a popular destination for families, schools and the wider community.
"The Farm Show is the perfect way to celebrate that success. It's wonderful to see so many people getting involved and showcasing their talents. Combined with live music, entertainment, special offers and plenty to see and do around the farm, we're looking forward to a brilliant day."
