More than 1,000 Year 11 pupils collected their GCSE exam results today.
Among them were Seren Anthony from Cwmbran High School who achieved 6A and 4B grades.
At Croesyceiliog School Amelia Rosser achieved 11 A* grades, and George Tavener, who achieved 11 A* and 1 A grade.
Abersychan School pupils Sasha Phipps and Hannah Craddock were also celebrating. Sasha achieved 3A's, 2B's, 2C's and a D, and Hannah achieved 4C's 2B's and a D.
At West Monmouth School pupil Jake Jones achieved 4Bs and 4Cs.
At Ysgol Gymraeg Gwynllyw, Idris Lewis got 2A* and 8A grades and Tasker White achieved 3 A's
Pupils from St Albans RC High School and the Pupil Referral Unit also collected their exam results today.
