Bus shelters are getting a fresh look as part of a new Towns Together programme, in line with the Torfaen Deal.
Forty-five bus shelters have already been deep cleaned, with another 27 to be cleaned in the next few weeks.
There are also plans to use some of the shelters to promote local landmarks, like the bus stop near Greenmeadow Community Farm.
Cllr Mandy Owen, Executive Member for the Environment, said: "Bus shelters are an important part of our public transport network and are used by thousands of people every week.
"Many resident use buses to travel to their local town centres so, as part of our community approach to improving and enhancing our towns, we wanted to ensure bus shelters are clean and attractive.

A total of 251 bus shelters will be cleaned as part of this initiative. The council is also reviewing requests for replacement glazing and new shelters.
As well as improving the look of bus shelters, the council's Integrated Transport Unit will be installing Real Time Passenger Information displays at selected bus stops next month.
The displays will provide live arrival times, service changes, and passenger alerts to improve the customer journey experience.
