The council’s leasing scheme aims to increase the amount of suitable accommodation for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Landlords can lease their properties to the council and we will turn it into suitable accommodation.
In return, a guaranteed rental income will be paid to the landlord with the property being managed by the council’s housing department.
The lease fee is set for the duration of the lease term of five years and will be payable quarterly in advance through bank transfer. The fees payable are as follows:
| Property size | Monthly lease fee |
| 1 bed | £666 |
| 2 bed | £737 |
| 3 bed | £796 |
Landlords can be assured that the property will return to the landlord at the end of the lease in the same condition, subject to reasonable wear and tear.
