Schools Budget Forum

Every local authority in Wales has a Schools Budget Forum.

Torfaen's Schools Budget Forum comprises school representatives, including headteachers and governors, and non-school representatives, such as local authority officers and trade union members. The Forum plays a key role in fostering understanding and constructive dialogue between the Council and its schools on budgetary matters, including school funding levels, emerging financial pressures, and proposed changes to the local funding formula.
