• British summer time: open 9am - closed 7pm
• All other times: open 9am - closed 5pm

The cemetery is near the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, with the towpath being part of National Cycle Route 492

Additional information 

The Cemetery Service office is at Llwyncelyn Cemetery. It is open 8am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 3.30pm on Fridays. The office is closed on weekends and Bank Holidays. 

Public toilets are available. The opening times as the same as the office. 

Llwyncelyn Cemetery offers the following burial options: 

• Lawn graves with headstone
• Kerbset graves with memorials
• Burial of cremated ashes
• Dedicated area for babies
• Meadow burial

The Meadow Burial area in Llwyncelyn cemetery forms part of the designated Local Nature Reserve, which has high ecological value, so no memorials or flowers are permitted in this area. 

There is a memorial wall and plaques with vases which can be leased for 10 years. Contact the Cemetery Office for further information.
