Traffic Wales is the Welsh Government's traffic information service.
The Welsh Government has two traffic control Centres; one based in South Wales along the M4, and one based in North Wales along the A55. Through these control rooms, the Assembly can manage the trunk roads and motorways in Wales through the use of CCTV and electronic signs.
Traffic Wales obtains information from the traffic control centres on the state of the Welsh Government's road network on a 24/7 basis. Traffic Wales makes this information available to both the public and the media to help advise of any incidents or events that may cause problems for a journey on our roads.
For further information visit the Traffic Wales website.
