As part of this year's Foster Care Fortnight campaign, Torfaen Council have joined other local authority fostering teams across the Gwent region to host a regional Men Who Care Wellbeing Walk in Pontypool Park.
Our five Local authorities banded together to raise awareness of the transformational power of fostering and to celebrate the fostering community, in particular our male local authority foster carers.
The Wellbeing walk gave our male foster carers the opportunity to share with the world #WhyWeCare.
Torfaen Leisure Trust generously provided an outdoor space, as well as beverages and a goody bag for each local authority foster carer.
Foster Care Fortnight is the Fostering Network's annual campaign to raise the profile of fostering and to show how foster care can transform lives. This year Foster Care Fortnight will be taking place from 10 until 23 May.
