It’s well documented that learning on the go is increasingly becoming more common place, so to keep up with the pace of change, Torfaen Adult Community Learning have just launched a new ‘learn on-the-go’ online training platform.

Offering a flexible alternative to traditional classroom learning, the new online e-learning portal allows you to study wherever and whenever you want.

Courses are provided through virtual lectures and videos, with content packaged into bite-sized modules for easy, on the move access via smartphones, tablets or laptops.

The site offers a choice of courses in Health and Safety, Social Care and Business Skills, with more to follow soon.

All courses available are managed and developed by industry experts, so you can be confident that you will gain vital skills and knowledge in your chosen area of study.

Torfaen Executive Member for Economy, Skills & Regeneration, Councillor Joanne Gauden said, “Many people are now choosing to enhance their prospects by completing qualifications online. It’s a viable alternative that offers a self-paced way of learning.

Whether you have no previous experience or are building upon your existing skills, we have the course that’s right for you. Some courses may even be fully funded through our existing Skills and Employability initiatives.”
