Torfaen Council's Adult Community Learning service are celebrating this year’s GCSE results and the amazing achievements of post 16 adult learners.
The GCSE English and Maths departments has seen some outstanding results and many learners will have gained the grades necessary to progress to their chosen career path.
Cllr Jo Gauden, Executive Member for Economy, Skills & Regeneration, said: ‘We’re pleased that our learners have made excellent progress with many examples of high achievement. I would personally like to congratulate all Torfaen Adult Community Learning GCSE English and Maths learners, as well as the dedicated staff for their hard work.
‘With all the pressures that learners have dealt with over the last 6 months, they have risen to the challenge and exceeded expectations and I wish them continued success in the future.
‘For anyone inspired to learn and are thinking about their future, it is never too late to return to learning.’
