There will be a celebration of local produce at Pontypool Indoor Market’s Foodie Thursday on 4 October.
On the menu is Court Bleddyn Farm’s award-winning Tamworth Pork, which has been locally reared in the hills of Pontypool, and cheese matured in the depths of Big Pit from the Blaenafon Cheddar Company.
There will also be a host of local traders offering everything from fresh fish, specialist hot sauce and chutney, artisan hot chocolate, and a wide variety of homemade cakes and sweet treats.
The traders will complement the market’s own butcher, delicatessen, fruit and veg stall, and bakery, and its existing offer of freshly prepared lunch time meals.
Foodie Thursday takes place on Thursday 4 October between 10am and 2pm at Pontypool Indoor Market.
