Torfaen council is calling for developers, landowners, organisations and the public to submit sites that could be included for new development, re-development or protection within a new Local Development Plan.
The council adopted its Local Development Plan (LDP) in December 2013 which sets out guidelines for the use and development of land within Torfaen. The current plan runs out in 2021 and a new one is being prepared that will set out the guidelines for development until 2033.
Developers, landowners, organisations and the public are invited to submit sites that could be included for new development, re-development or protection within the new LDP.
While all submissions will be considered, that does not imply that they will be accepted and allocated in the final Torfaen LDP. For transparency, all submissions received will be made public in a register by the end of the year.
The deadline for submission of candidate sites is Monday 1 October 2018.
