New business launches in Blaenavon

Local Blaenavon lady Amelia Brown has realised a lifelong dream in starting her own business based in the town. AB cleaning will offer domestic and commercial cleaning services and will offer a personal touch in looking to help both people who can no longer clean their own homes or just simply do not have the time within their busy schedules. Amelia has been supported by Communities First with business advice, small scale marketing and promotional funding. The People Plus programme has supported Amelia with business planning advice and set up.

Amelia said “I'm so excited that I have finally set the wheels in motion to start my own cleaning business. Something that I have thought about doing for a long time. Im just glad that its finally getting off the ground."

"A massive thank you to local driving instructor Phil Bowen on helping me pass my driving test, which has been a huge help towards my business. Lynne Morgan from NEA, Clare Watkins from TCBC, Blitz Media for car signs, DMP Printing Ltd for helping design and printing my business cards and leaflets, Ruck um Maul for uniform and last of all, a huge thank you to Richard Murphy, who has encouraged helped and supported me all the way!"
