Description:

West Monmouth School is a successful 11 – 16 school. We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our in-house school cleaning team.  You will be responsible for cleaning a specific area within the school to ensure that the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness is achieved at all times whilst maintaining all health and safety requirements.  Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. 

You will be required to abide by all systems and procedures stipulated by the Housekeeper and ensure the safe and correct use of all cleaning equipment at all times.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential

  • Willingness to achieve other relevant qualifications.
  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to interact and engage with customers.
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work.

Desirable

  • BICS Qualification or willingness to achieve this.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment.
