Report a missed bin/recycling collection
If your waste/recycling was at its collection point at the correct time but was not collected, you should contact us.
Please be aware that we do not return for missed purple lidded bin collections unless there was:
- Access issues due to road works, major incidents or adverse weather such as snow
- A record that a bin was damaged and couldn’t be collected
- A missed assisted collection
All reports of missed purple lidded bin collections are investigated by the Waste Department using our vehicle tracking system. The waste will need to be retained and put back out on the next collection day. Please note that additional waste, which cannot fit inside the purple lidded bin, will not be collected.
If you wish to report a missed bin/recycling collection for the first time, you need to register a few details to help us respond to your request. By registering your details you can track the progress of your report and receive updates as it is processed.
If you’ve already registered using the Torfaen app, currently available on Apple, Android and Windows devices, then you can use the same email and password to log-in.
