Torfaen Residents Survey 2018

Our latest residents' survey was undertaken between August and September 2018, of which, a total of 1222 responses were received.

Whether it's investing more into making the borough cleaner and greener, supporting vulnerable people in the community or improving the standards in our schools, we're committed to making Torfaen a better place for our residents.  And with budgets under more and more pressure it's really important we understand what people's experiences and expectations are from their local council.

We always get told that surveys don't matter or nothing happens as a result of what we're told but that's not the case.  The results of the residents survey is used to help inform decisions we take and enables us to judge whether our services are meeting people's expectations.

The responses have been analysed by local authority and north/south Torfaen. We have also compared the results against the 2017 residents' survey. All results have been weighted by age and gender.
