Personal Assistant (Carer) - Independent Living Team

£11.37 per hour (gross)        

Permanent Part Time (6 hours)

I am looking for a part-time Personal Care Assistant to support me with day to day care and social activities. This is to enable me to have an active and independent lifestyle. The applicant will need to work on a Saturday and Sunday to cover a morning and evening call, plus a Monday and Wednesday evening call. It may also be necessary to cover other employee shifts from time to time, notice will be given, and your availability will be considered.

I need help with:

• Dressing/undressing
• Meal preparation
• Some domestic tasks
• Shopping, attending appointments and social activities

Due to assistance with personal care, I require the applicant to be female. This is an exception under the Equality Act 2010.

An Enhanced DBS will be required. This will be undertaken and paid for by the Local Authority.

I have 2 small, friendly dogs that will be on the premises.
