Helping the Armed Forces Community
(Article from the August 2013 Edition of Torfaen Talks)
Torfaen council is continuing its work to support the armed forces community in the borough, following the signing of a landmark covenant in March.
A community covenant pledge for Torfaen was created with the aim of improving integration and raising awareness of issues affecting the armed forces community. The new task group has now met to discuss how to continue this work.
