The Re-use Shop next to our Household Waste Recycling Centre in New Inn sells good quality, pre-loved items that residents have donated to reduce waste and help support Circulate Furniture Recycling, a local charity.
All of our shoppers can feel great about making a positive contribution to the environment by reusing materials that would otherwise be thrown away. So come on down and grab yourself a bargain.
Where is the re use shop located?
You’ll find our new shop at Unit 8 Pontypool Industrial Estate, Panteg Way, New Inn, NP4 OLS
What are the opening times?
8:00am – 4:00pm - Tuesday - Saturday
What kind of items are on sale at the shop?
Wooden furniture, garden ornaments, bric a brac, salvaged items, bicycles, musical instruments, toys and sports equipment.
Are you looking for volunteers?
Yes Circulate often takes on volunteers, we will provide training and expenses.
What sort of prices are typical?
Most items on sale should only cost a few pounds.
Who is in charge of the shop?
The shop is run by Circulate in partnership with FCC Environment and Torfaen County Borough Council.
Where does the money go?
Circulate is a non-profit organisation and all funds generated go back into the charity to fund other community projects.
Can I drop stuff directly to the shop?
Yes you can or alternatively items can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at New Inn. Please speak to a member of staff if you have an item that is too good to tip.
Can I pick something out of the skip and pay at the shop?
No, this is not permitted for health and safety reasons.
Can I order something in case it comes in?
We can’t take orders for items but shop staff will try to help.
Can I return an item?
Yes all good are second hand and have been previously used. We advise that you inspect items thoroughly before buying them. Items should have a sales receipt.
Can I walk to the shop?
Yes you can the access to the shop is prior to the entrance to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Panteg Way, New Inn.
Can I take house clearance or boot sale stuff to the shop?
No, unfortunately there is limited space in the shop, so we can only take selected items that have come from the Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Is the shop open to Torfaen residents only?
Our reuse shop is open to all.
Can businesses or traders buy items from the shop?
Yes the shop is open to all.
Are children allowed in the shop?
Yes children are welcome but safety is our priority so they must be supervised at all times.
Is there disabled access to the shop?
Yes there is disabled access and parking.
Are there public toilets at the shop?
Unfortunately there are no public toilets on site.
What types of payments are accepted?
Cash and all major credit and debit cards are accepted at the shop.
How are prices determined?
We do our best to assign merchandise for market value through experience and internet searches.
