Torfaen Social Services has today launched its long standing annual Santa Appeal.
Running from 6 November to 4 December 2023, the appeal ensures every child and young adult supported by the service will receive a gift this Christmas.
Residents who want to make a donation will be given the age and gender of a child and a unique code which can be attached to the gift, which needs to be unwrapped.
Non-perishable food items can also be donated to make up hampers for young people aged 16 and over who live alone.

Phone lines will be open from Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 4pm.

Since it was launched in 2007, the appeal has supported thousands of children and young people across Torfaen – many of whom live in poverty or have no contact with their families.
