Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3

Following on from the Level 2 qualification, this course is designed to help those in a school support role understand the importance of the essential work they do. As part of the course, you will be expected to gain practical experience in a school or college, for at least one day per week, as an employee or volunteer – so it’s important you arrange your placement before enrolling.

This course is for:

• anyone in a support role at a school or college as a classroom assistant or learning and support assistant, or in a voluntary support role.

*Placement required.

Entry Requirements

You will need Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools. However, if you have significant experience in an appropriate setting you may be able to progress directly to Level 3. We will discuss this with you at interview.
