Scaffolding and Hoarding Permits|

All scaffolding/hoarding placed on the Public Highway must have a permit. It is the responsibility of the company providing scaffolding/hoarding to contact the Council requesting permission to place it on the highway. 

 

 
  

Skip Permits| 

If you wish to have a builder’s skip or container located on the public highway, it is essential that the skip or container be covered by a permit.

Torfaen Council provide an effective and efficient winter maintenance service to maintain its roads in the winter months to keep them clear of snow and ice.  Safe movement of traffic in the winter months is vital to minimise delays caused by adverse weather conditions.
