Description
Torfaen County Borough Council have developed a series of circular walks throughout the Torfaen area in addition to an annual events and guided walks programme.
The walks span the County Borough including:

Henllys Southern Circular Walk – a two hour walk via Mynydd Maen and Henllys farmland

Henllys Circular Walk – a two and a half hour walk from Cwmbran via Mynydd Henllys and Henllys Village

Cwm Lickey Circular Walk – a one and a half hour walk around the Race area. The walk takes you up through the Upper Race onto common land.

Cwmsychan – a two hour walk exploring a quiet and rarely visited cwm on the west side of the Eastern Valley

Cwmffrwd – a two and a half hour walk exploring a quiet and rarely visited cwm on the west side of the Eastern Valley

The Torfaen Trail – A 35 mile, figure of eight walk that takes in the whole of Torfaen, from Cwmbran in the south, through Pontypool to Blaenavon in the north. It has been broken down into nine linear sections, which vary in distance from 2 miles to 9 miles. Walkers of all ages and abilities will find something to suit them, from an enjoyable stroll to the full 35 miles challenge!

How do I access the Service?
Circular Walks Leaflets can be obtained from all Council Offices, Libraries and Countryside Section based in County Hall or the Tourist Information Centre.
