Description
The Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall is owned by the Council, and operated by an independent management committee made up of volunteers from the local community.
This fine example of a Valleys miners' institute houses a 400 seat auditorium, cinema, snooker room, bar, meeting room and conference facilities. The Workmen’s Hall - built by miners through weekly deductions from their pay - has been refurbished to a high standard.
