Description
Torfaen County Borough Council provides alternative tuition for pupils who for physical and/or medical reasons are unable to attend school.
The tuition is initiated by an open referral system, with most requests from either the school, Education Welfare Officer, Clinical Medical Officer, GP, Health Visitor or parent/guardian.
Once the authorisation has been received for the tuition to begin, the pupil is matched with a tutor or tutors.
One of the main aims is to re-integrate children back into school.

The service is provided for children who cannot attend school for a particular reason.

8.30 - 5.00 - Monday to Thursday
8.30 - 4.30 - Friday
