Adoption is a lifelong commitment which can be rewarding and fulfilling but it can also present challenges. It is about providing a permanent family home for children who for whatever reason are unable to return to their birth family.
Adoption is a legal process in which:

All rights and responsibilities are transferred to the adoptive parent(s)
